Divide class anto pairs and print up 'A' and 'B' versions of the crossword for each pair (1a-1b, etc).
Members hold their part of the puzzle so their partner cannot see it. In turns, each partner describes (defines, exemplifies, gives synonym for, etc) a word that is present on his/her puzzle but absent on the partner's. - without saying the word itself.
Continue until both puzzles are complete and identical.
